Updates:

Financials:

So I have some good news! I have finally been in the green. I can tell you it feels so nice to finally break even with my investments with my current G2A selling account that I opened recently (I did this just for the purpose of this blog making it easier to track my earnings.)

As you can see above, it has finally come after a series of sales of around 2 EUR a piece on average. Mostly selling my Alan Wake steam gifts which I got pretty dirt cheap from a sale long ago for $3 USD. the profit margins may be a little close yet they are still there. I also tried selling Chivalry Medieval Warfare but was less successful as the game seemed to be a little over saturated in the marketplace, meaning that the prices were extremely competitive and I honestly don't believe I would have had much of a chance of cutting any kind of slice of the revenue to take home as profit if I sold there.

Also remember that here a lot of your personal knowledge really comes in handy as you should have a good sense of how often these games go on sale. I realized that Chiv has actually been going on sales a lot, meaning I have thousands of people out there who can get their hands on cheaper keys and then sell those on the marketplace driving the price way down.
For those of you that are slightly more doubtful bellow I have proof of some of my transaction history of another alt account just to prove that the market really is alive and it is possible to turn a tidy profit.

Also keep in mind that a good rating counts for a lot! So don't try and trick people out of their money and try to resolve any issues with the G2A marketplace as efficiently and quickly as you can. Even just buying games on G2A for dirt cheap will still end up giving you more rep for people checking out your account or listings.  Just remember that people always want to buy from someone with lots of shiny stars and badges, it makes them feel safe when dealing with something like the internet which at times can be quite disconnected from reality. The more comfortable you make people feel with your profile the more easily they will part with their hard earned cash to you.

If you do enjoy these updates please do join my mailing list to keep updated with my venture! All the best.

Next up I will write about stock keeping and inventory management. Stay tuned!

Selecting games to sell on G2A:

Hey all! I have decided to embrace a very important part of the game selling aspect in this post. Which games do I sell? Its really basic to be honest. All you need to do is think about what games you have heard of the most/which are on the biggest specials at the moment. Steam normally only puts very popular specials on the front/home page in the application. This is a good way to gauge whether or not the game will sell well on G2A.com.

What Steam games do I pick to sell on Ebay/G2A?

Personally I like to get a bit of variety so that I can build up a nice catalog and variety of games for my potential customers to choose from. The hope here is that people will check your selling profile to see how credible you are and by doing so see some of your other auctions (This applies especially well for when you are trying to sell the keys/activation links on a website like Ebay or TradeMe in the NZ). If you take a look at some of the more popular users and see what variety they have on offer. Remember we want to be going for good market coverage. Just in the last month I have average 10-15 sales per week! It really isn't that heard, I have done this mainly just through scaling. Remember guys to reinvest those earnings! The longer you keep reinvesting the longer the cycle goes on, and the more you can stack up those fat stacks.

How much money to invest into reselling?

Well this is completely up to you and what you are comfortable with. I would suggest starting as small as you want as there is no minimum. You are only limited with your skills in finding a good deal! I have obviously scaled up my investments over the months and now invest anywhere between $5-$100 a week in attaining more keys. These factors are all dependent on the Steam sales and seasons etc. etc. which I will outline more in other posts.

SYMA X5C-W Quadcopter Review

The SYMA X5C-W Quadcopter is a staple for beginners when it comes to flying drones. This drone is pretty kitted out, as well as the fact that it has a camera on-board for the insanely low price of about $55. The Syma is know to be easy to fly and a great start for beginners. At the same time you will definitely be getting your moneys worth. It has an average rating for 9/10 stars for maneuvering capabilities, and is also great for learning how to film in the out doors from high angles.

If this isn't enough for you there are plenty of modifications available out there. For example if you want this budget drone but are possible put of by wanting higher quality video? No problemo, try hooking up your own camera to it. As long as its light enough it shouldn't be a problem. On a rather serious note though, please make sure to test fly these things in either a closed environment or an outdoor location far away from any obstacles and roads. Win is a real killer here especially with the smaller drones.

DRONES! A whole world of cool, and how to get your own for cheap!

We have all seen the countless videos making viral hits at the moment. Such as this new cool throw-able drown called "Lily". This specific drone has a built in function that will let it follow you as well as pan around you and record slow-motion when it senses something cool is about to happen. Plus to get it started you can just chuck it off a bridge. How cool does that sound.

Pretty neat huh? Well its pricey too. This new drone that has been in development for about 18 months will come out with a starting price of about $450 USD. Now I hear you wonder, but what can I do to get myself something like this, I mean surely there will be something the like of these bad boys for cheaper right? Maybe something from China. Keep reading for some drone suggestions starting from just $50 range!

Where to from here?

I will be making several follow up posts after this, each one taking a look at different drones.
Don't have the money to buy a drone just yet? I suggest you keep browsing the countless cool videos people have put on YouTube of their many uses to keep you entertained for the meanwhile. Alternatively you could also settle for a GoPro

Selling CD Keys

Getting Started:

Hello hello people and fellow games. Today I will be blogging a bit about my experiences with selling steam cd keys as well as software such as antivirus keys. I have found that this niche is actually quite profitable and actually requires a surprisingly low starting capital. Just to put this point into perspective, I myself only have about $10 - $30 per week to spare. That's right, I'm basically operating on pocket money here. You might be thinking about where the best place to start is? Well its right in-front of you! The internet.

So what is the idea with all this?

It's simple really, what we do is take some CD Keys from popular gaming services such as Valve's own Steam, or EA's Origin. As these can effortlessly exchanged via instant messaging or email we then open a listing on either Ebay or local equivalent. Then we make sells and generate $$$. Sounds easy right? Well it is!

Starting off:

Firstly we need to look into acquiring all these keys we are going to be selling, most of which we can get directly off steam or sites such as G2A.com. As I have mentioned in my previous posts G2A is a now massive platform market of Cd Key exchanging. The great thing being that most of the keys being sold there are from previous sales. All you need to do is find a key from a sale that is no longer on/ the current game on its relevant market place such as Steam for example is priced much higher than that on G2A . If you look hard enough you will be able to spot some pretty major price differences. This is where your starting capital comes in, as you find some good looking deals you will want to invest in them. I suggest something $10 or under for starters to keep risk relatively low. Once the transaction is successfully completed you will want to list the item on Ebay or what have you. Make sure to give yourself a decent profit margin! It doesn't matter if there are a few other people competing with you. It is a pretty damn big market and if you have selected a relatively mainstream game then there are changes there is a large volume of them selling!

Drop shipping CD Keys:

This method is now a little bit more high risk than the previous. For this you will want to go back over to G2A.com, however this time you won't be making the purchase yourself, this time you will be listing the item on Ebay for a decent profit margin without buying the actual key. Now here is where the risk comes in. Chances are that when/if some one does decide to buy from you the corresponding game title has risen in price on G2A.com, you might find yourself having to make up the difference out of your own pocket. On the other hand if the purchase goes down successfully and you buy the key for a much lower price you can make serious profit. The very great benifit of this is that you are acting purely as a middle man in this sale! You do not need to own any stock at all and just wait all day long until you make a sale. Then only buy the G2A key once the money has come through.

Good luck errbawdy and happy earnings! Drop me a line of feedback of if you felt this guide was any use to you :)

Guide to making money selling G2A games

As we all know a large part of a gamer's routine is devoted to checking out upcoming releases, and scouting out the next game they intend to purchase. We can therefore safely assume that it is a kind of a necessity for gamers, and that people buying video games online is hardly going to die out anytime soon.

 What is G2A?

G2A is a website that lets users resell/buy games off each other for well bellow retail price. Normally a transaction would involve you picking out a game, paying for it with Paypal, and then receiving an email containing a Steam key code for you to activate your game with. The beauty of this is that you will never get the second hand quality of game, because you are buying a steam key you will be able to play the game for ever! (Or at least as long as Steam is around for!)

How do I make money from them?

Making money with G2A can be done in a number of ways:

Buying Games - It is true that you can actually make money just by buying games from their website, it's just that the money will be in the form of points that you can only use to discount other purchases on their website. I find this my most casual income/savings method that I have for this website, as I just make sure to log in with my account every time I buy something from them, and as a result I am able to get a free game every now and then with my spare points.

Signing Up Friends - Most gamers like you and myself have other gamer friends. These friends, just like us, have a tendency to buy games every now and then as well. Here is where you come in. You will need to give your friend your G2A goldmine REF link, which can be found on the Goldmine page from the main website. If you send your friend this link and they click on it, and subsequently by a game or make an account you will make a small share of the profit of that purchase. So therefore the more friends you give your link to, the more money you have the potential to earn! I think it is also worth noting at this point that the money you earn from your friends signing up can be withdrawn to your Paypal for personal use.

Reffering A Youtuber - A very large portion of the largest gaming channels on YouTube are from gamers. Their intended target market is also gamers. Therefore you could make a lot of money if you could somehow refer all those viewers to your link, right? A lot of top YouTubers are already using this method, such as Pewdiepie, Jackfrags and KSIO.  Now let me stop you before you go around spamming your affiliate link on every YouTube video. Trust me you will just be labelled as a spammer, and probably have your account disabled sooner or later. What you need to do is message the owner of the channel and send them Your referrer link. Tell them about how they will make a portion of each sale, or even link them to this page if you want. This will give them their motivation. When they then make their account and start advertising it on their page, you will start making a cut of EVERY SINGLE PURCHASE THAT THEIR  REFERRALS MAKE. This is because the referral program works on multiple levels, three levels to be precise. This means that each person you sign up can effectively have one person sign up under them, and then another under that person, and you will still make a small amount of each of them. The one catch with this is however that you make slightly less profit the further down, or in other words, the less directly you know the person buying the game.

With all of these methods together you can easily make a decent amount of money online from your seat in front of your computer. You don't even need to be online most the time for the money to roll in once you get a large enough following. That is the beauty of this whole thing. Anyways, this has been enough explaining, and it is time for you to give this a shot. As always remember to let us know with your developments and earnings by leaving a comment.

Getting Started with Postloop

GODAMIT RIKI NEEDS TO BE NERFED AHHHH. Sorry just finished a game of Dota 2 if you couldn't tell... Needed to get that out of my system.

Where were we? Ah, Getting Started!.
So now we are all set up with email, paypal etc. we/I can start looking into some ways to make our very first $5!

This first method is a bit... tedious? It is called Postloop. The TL/DR of this website is write forum post -> get dolla. If you are interested in the slightly more technical or details of this method then you will want to stay tuned.

Step #1 - Registration:

Head to the Postloop website and sign up. Once you have filled out all your info, and added your Paypal account as a payment option you will want to start the "Test posting".

Step #2 - Test Posting:

As the little hint will tell you at the top of the Postloop page, you will want to navigate to their own forums. Here you will make 10 test posting into any category within the forum. Please note that it is HIGHLY  advised that you put a lot of effort into spell checking these posts, as they are the standard that you will receive your first ranking for. Another thing that tends to increase your initial writing score is mixing your posting with the occasional starting of a thread. This shows the admins that you will act like a natural part of what ever forum you will work for later on.

Step #3 - Wait:

Now that you have successful written your first 10 or more test posts you will have to wait, For me it took just over 24 hours to get my account to get approved and to receive a ranking of 4/5 stars.

Step #4 - Finding A Good Forum:

Now that you have been approved, hopefully with a decent rating, you will be able to head over to the forums section and select one that suits your category. If you want to write specifically about gaming then this is your chance, as there is a subcategory dedicated to gaming based forums. Find one that suits your standards and head over to it and make an account. After making the account you will want to go back to the postloop website, and click the subscribe button on the forum listing. Here you will be told any specific rules the owner of the forums wants you to follow, a common rule being not to mention postloop. Enter your details that you used to sign up to that particular forum, You have now been subscribed! How easy was that? Feel free to repeat this step with up to however many forums you find interesting, or want to participate in.

Step #5 - Posting:

Now you will want to go the the forum that you subscribed to in the previous step. First you will always want to personalize your avatar and forum profile a bit to make yourself seem like a natural poster. Trust me this is important in maintaining a good ranking. Then try to dig up a typical "Introduce yourself" thread, and post with a warm hello, and a brief description of yourself, and how you found the community. Be creative. Then just start posting away in other discussions that are happening on the forum, all the while making sure to keep a good post to thread ratio. I like to make around 1 new thread every 7 posts. Again this is to make yourself seem more like a organic visitor to the forum.

Step #6 - Rinse & Repeat:

From here on out it is all just about scaling your reach to as many forums as you can subscribe to until you hit the 100 point cash-out threshold that you need to withdraw the points to your Paypal account. This might take a while depending on your writing speed and creativity, but it is one of my most reliable sources of online income, as there are almost always forums that want posting. As of now 1 point is worth around $0.07, as you get around 1.5 points per post on average at the moment, you should be expecting around $0.14 per post.

Step #7 - Cashing Out:

This is the best part. Head over to the payment tab under your profile on the Postloop website. Make sure you have your correct Paypal account linked, and continue to the withdrawal tab. Here you can specify any amount of points, with 100 being the minimum, that you would like to cash out. After requesting the cashout it can take up to 24 hours to have it approved and processed. My average time is 5 hours.

Hope you guys/gals enjoyed this very first part of my blogging journey. Feel free to drop me a line with any issues you are having with this method bellow, and I will reply ASAP.

Note:I will be try to get some screenshots up for each step soon to make this method a bit easier to understand.

GOOD EARNINGS EVERYONE!
